Livium secures up to A$30 million grant from ARENA

Livium has secured up to A$30 million from ARENA for an Australian LFP demonstration plant. This grant covers 50% of the funding needed and is conditional on full funding being secured. Livium is seeking strategic investment to close the funding gap before a final investment decision is made. The company aims to advance the western LFP supply chain and contribute to global battery manufacturing. The project overview details the operation of a 250 tonne per annum facility over 46 months, aiming to secure binding offtake agreements and increase technology readiness necessary to allow commercial facility development. Potential revenues from a 25,000 tpa commercial facility are estimated at ~US$319m.
