Livium completes activities under JDA with Mineral Resources

Livium is pleased to announce the completion of activities under the Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Mineral Resources Ltd (MinRes). These activities included the development and operation of a pilot plant, refinement of lithium phosphate, and completion of a demonstration plant engineering study. Livium and MinRes are now discussing the outcomes from these activities to define the next steps for the LieNA® commercialization pathway under the JDA, aiming for finalization by 31 January 2025. The completion of these activities is a key milestone in the collaborative development of Livium's patented LieNA® technology, which has the potential to enhance lithium extraction yields by up to 50%. The JV formed between MinRes and Livium will license the LieNA® technology to third parties at a target headline gross product royalty rate of 8%, expanding Livium's addressable market.
